This internship took place during spring semester 2025 and provided hands-on experience in cybersecurity within a professional IT environment. I worked on tasks such as monitoring network devices, managing user access, responding to tickets, and assisting with policy compliance and security protocols. The experience was meaningful because it allowed me to apply classroom knowledge to real-world scenarios, strengthen technical and problem-solving skills, and develop professional competencies such as communication, teamwork, and critical thinking. This internship gave me valuable insight into how cybersecurity practices support organizational security and operations, preparing me for future roles in the field.
